Luã Fergus holds a bachelor’s degree in Law from Fluminense Federal University (UFF), having participated, in 2016, in the International Mobility Program, allocated at New University of Lisbon (NOVA). He is currently a research assistant at the Center for Technology & Society (CTS) and CyberBRICS project’s Community Manager. He is a founding member of the Youth Special Interest Group of the Internet Society (Youth SIG – ISOC), where he served as Head of the Editorial Committee in the 2015-17 biennium. Current research interests include access to knowledge and copyright law,  data exploitation and human rights, Internet Governance with particular focus on Intermediaries Liability.
